Things to do

There is so much going on in Shropshire it is extremely hard to keep you informed of everything, so I decided that I would use this page to just highlight a few special events that are within walking distance.

Viewing of Pitchford Hall and Tree House – For dates and to make a booking CLICK HERE

Pitchford Hall was purchased in 2016 by Rowena Colthurst and her husband James Nason after Rowena’s family sold it in 1992.  It is described as Britain’s finest half-timbered house and the Tree House is thought to be the oldest in the world.  The property has been empty for 25 years and is now in need of restoration.  Viewings are available via the link above.

Pop-up Restaurant – For full details CLICK HERE

This unique restaurant is only open on the last Friday of each month.  You will need to book in advance. It is within walking distance, but you will need a torch and some wellies / walking boots depending upon the weather as it is 1 mile away and can be accessed up a farm track.  When booking please let Anna and Richard know you will be walking so they can arrange access with the farmer.
